Search Party - 1 of 1 Postcards?!

There is still one massive gap in my collection.

In 2006, in addition to everything else, Topps also included Allen & Ginter 1/1 Boxtopper Postcards! There were only 15 and they have proven to be exceptionally rare - by design since they're all 1/1's - but also in reality. In 20 years, I have only seen 5 of these - 5!

Personalized Postcards

Two different types of cards were inserted into the hobby boxes of 2006 Allen and Ginter as a box topper. Each box would contain either a postcard box topper or a N43 box topper. The postcards measure approximately the same dimensions as a standard US postal service post card. The card fronts feature a black and white picture from a location that would be associated with the player. The card backs feature a short message from the player, hand written by the player with a signature. The "stamp" of the post card features a small portrait picture of the player.

The odds of pulling a personalized postcard was 1:3000 hobby boxes. Each personalized postcard is a one-of-one.

The Mickey Mantle card is signed by his son David.
